Abstract

In China, the incidence rate of cerebral palsy (CP) is 1-5%, and spastic CP is the most common type, accounting for 60-70% of the CP infants, mainly manifested by motor dysfunctions and abnormal postures. Moreover, the motor dysfunctions of lower limbs seriously influence of the quality of life of the sick infants anre are one of the main points in the treatment. We treated the motor dysfunctions of the lower limbs with acupuncture and tuina for the infants with spastic CP at the early stage, based upon modern rebilitation of Western medicine.
