Abstract
During the past three years, the major aim of my studies at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China, has been the research of scap psoriasis. This is a common skin disease and my clinical experience led me to the idea that this condition might be very closely related to stress. Psoriasis often starts on the scalp and spreads to the body. It is important to control the disease at an early stage to prevent it from spreading and becoming chronic. My thesis, which is summarised here, aimed to demonstrate how Long Dan Xie Gan Tang is effective for this purpose.
