Abstract
Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation (LDH) is a syndrome that mainly manifests as lumbar pain and femoral nerve or sciatic nerve pain. Herniation of L4/L5 and L5/S1 intervertebral discs are the most commonly seen presentations in clinic, accounting for almost 90 percent in total.
