Practical moxibustion therapy (38): essence of acupuncture and moxibustion - part 6

Abstract

The Sawada-style is condensed in Sawada Sensei's Taikyoku Therapy, and it's all about ''root treatment.'' As long as the root is being treated, regardless of whether the method is moxa, needles, or anma, it is still Taikyoku Therapy. We can see how Sawada Sensei worked with his disciples to create Taikyoku Therapy. In this way the Sawada style has some breadth. This is where Sawada style differs from other styles. I can feel the spirit of Sawada Senei: he didn't make any bones about methods, but consistently sought to cure the patient from the root.
