Abstract
The new interactive and social network technology of WeChat has permitted the wider Chinese community to conduct discussions of new ideas and innovative thoughts in regard to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and has facilitated the dissemination of excerpts of previously published works. The technology of promulgating medical information in China has progressed in 2000 years from bamboo strips, to fabric, to paper, and now to WeChat.
