Abstract
I belong to the Tokyo Nine Needle Research Group that explores various traditional needle and moxibustion methods. In our daily clinical practice, we use not only the common filiform needles but also tools like the traditional 'nine needles' as our group name indicates. We also use various tools and methods such as the original Japanese dashin, the tapping needle or zashishin, and the hooked needle developed by Koukichi Shiozawa Sensei, used to remove tissue from an affected point.
