Description
International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture (2017), Decheng Cheng.
Abstract
Motion Acupuncture is one of our proprietary acupuncture techniques in which patients perform active or passive motions of the body parts under acupuncturists' supervision, with needles inserted and retained in the acupuncture points throughout the treatment session. This enables patients to receive active, multiple-at-one-time, self-controlled myofascial stiulation from needling. In this article, we report a case of neck pain caused by sternocleidomastoid injury, which was rapidly alleviated by a single session of motion acupuncture treatment.
