Abstract
In the department of obstetrics, it is always a key to help the puerperant to maintain a better mental state, shorten the birth process, have a smooth delivery, guaranteeing the safety of both the mother and baby and enhancing the life quality of the parturients during the labor stage. Acupuncture is a convenient and simple method that the parturients are easy to accept and can effectively relieve laborpain. From March to August of 2009, we treated 120 cases of parturients with acupuncture compared with 120 cases treated by intermittent oxygen inhalation, for dynamic observation of delivery pain in thetwo groups of parturients.
