Effects of classic Chinese medicine vs. contemporary medicine for cancer/tumor: case report (pituitary tumor)

Description

Abstract

In this case-study, a woman arrived in the clinic on Jan. 5, 2017, complaining of left heel pain and excessive hair loss that had persisted for the past several months. While treating her heel pain and excessive hair loss it was revealed that she had also had a pituitary tumor, which had been diagnosed when she was in her twenties. After two visits, it was discovered during her annual MRI (Jan. 9, 2017), that her pituitary tumor had reduced in size, from 8-10 mm (which it had been for over 10 years) to 7 mm. Additionally, during two courses of 24 visits her prolactin level dropped from 150-198 to 10 (normal range 8-18), as verified by a lab test on May 5, 2017. Her thyroid function was restored to normal as well without any other intervention. We suggest this case be used to inspire further research so that more people may benefit.
