Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking for hiccups occurring in late-stage cancer. Methods: A total of 30 cases of hiccups in late-stage cancer were included and treated with electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking. Results: Of the 30 cases, 10 cases showed marked effect, 18 cases showed improvement and 2 cases failed, with a total effective rate of 93.3%. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking is an effective method to relieve hiccups in late-stage cancer.
