Abstract
This article attempts to review Chinese medical applications of acupuncture and herbal medicine in the treatment of parkinson's disease. Compiled clinical evidence is presented on the proposed mechanisms of action underlying the effects of acupuncture, along with practical techniques and applications for Chinese medicine patterns commonly seen in parkinson's patients. This paper models the classical paradigm from which acupuncture stems while sharing relevant scientific evidence.
