Abstract

Objective: to observe the clinical curative effect of Jin's needling treatment on apoplectic psudobulbar palsy. Methods: 80 patients diagnosed with apoplectic pseudobulbar paralysis were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 40 cases in each group. On the basis of conventional medicine treatment; the short-term curative effect after 4 weeks' treatment and long-term curative effect 3 months later was evaluated. Results: after 4 weeks' treatment, curative effect of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group; the symptoms and signs scores decreased obviously and the drop degree of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group; the follow-up after 3 months showed that the symptoms and signs scores decreased, but there was no significant difference between the 2 groups in the extent of decrease. Conclusion: in a word, curative effect of Jin's needling treatment of apoplectic psudobulbar palsy is better than that of routine acupuncture method.
