Abstract
From August 2007 to April 2010, colleagues of the Acupuncture Anesthesia Research Room in our hospital conducted preemptive analgesia with acupuncture for those before a thoracotomy, measured the beta-endorphin and cortisol, calculated thedoses of postoperative Fentanyl in four groups and thus observed the effect of preoperative acupuncture on peri-operative pain following a thoracotomy.
