Abstract
Professor Fu Yan-Ling earned his master's degree in Chinese medicine at the Hu Bei Chinese Medicine College under the supervision of renowned Shang Han Lun specialist Professor Li Pei-Sheng. He completed his doctoral degree at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine under Professor Liu Du-Zhou, a Shang Han Lun specialist revered in China, and in 1991 was nominated by the Chinese Government as the successor of Professor Liu. Professor Fu is a key member of Chinese Medicine Zhang Zhong Jing Research Association, and is a supervisor of Ph.D. and masters students at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He has over 30 years of clinical experience in the treatment of gastrointestinal disease using jing fang. The following is a summary of Professor Fu's approach to treatment.
