Abstract
In recent years, the activity and contents of free radical and free radical scavenger were found to be related with senescence. The authors investigated the mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion in delaying aging via measuring the content of malondialdehyde (MDA), activity of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), and content of hydroxyproline (Hyp) in the skin tissue of senile mice treated with acupuncture and moxibustion.
