Abstract
Just as we would never use only one needle size for all of our patients and all of their conditions, we should not narrow our focus to finding one perfect acupuncture tool. Althought acupuncture tools are incredibly simple, the subtle differences between them create a very sophisticated array of treatment options. I believe that by dissecting the attributes of individual instruments we may uncover their strengths and weaknesses and begin to use them in a more exacting way.
