Abstract
Scar tissue is a commonly-encountered symptom of skin lesion after surgery or injury, manifested clinically by red color, itching and pain, local pigmentatin and keloid. Clinically, it is mostly treated by surgical removal, skin graft, injection of medication into scar, dermabrasion, constrant pressure, feexing, laser and physiotherapy, with emphasis on the positive prevention of the formation of hypertrophic scar during surgical operation and redressing of topical medications. But, the effects are still not ideal. We treated 80 cases of hypertrophic scar by acupuncture plus ultrasonic therapy.
