Abstract
To observe the effect of acupuncture plus thunder-fire moxibustion on the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-3 (mmp-3), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) and transforming growth factor-B1 (TGF-B1) in cartilage of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) rats, and to explore the mechanism of acupuncture plus thunder-fire moxibustion in the treatment of KOA.
