Abstract
Perhaps in acupuncture school you were taught the "four-needle" method. I never understood it other than in a theoretical sense, and was never able to use the theory of energy transfer through the phases to produce tangible clinical results. Recently I've started studying and using the Sa'am acupuncture method, and now realise that while I'd learned the theory, I was not introduced to the dynamic of how the five phases interconnect with the six conformations. And that has changed everything.
