Abstract

Benzodiazepines are widely used medications, but, unfortunately, dependence is common. This article explores the energetic impact of these anxiolytics, using side-effect profiles and the impressions of practitioners. Given that anxiety is essentially an energetic phenomenon, acupuncture can offer a creative alternative for suitable patients. Four case are described briefly to illustrate the use of acupuncture.
