Abstract
According to literature and reports, more and more achievements have been obtained during the mechanism researches of acupuncture intervention on experimental cerebral ischemia. In the preliminary studies of this group, the cerebral protection effect of electroacupuncture at conception vessel and governor vessel on experimental cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury has been verified from such points of view as inhibiting apoptosis, promoting neural stem cell proliferation and diffentiation, up-regulating nerve growth factor, and promoting angiogenesis,etc.
