Abstract
This review paper collects and compiles publications pertinent to the application of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) technology to acupuncture research. This is the last part of a three-part series. This part reviews studies which investigate the effect of acupuncture stimulation on cerebral functional connectivity as revealed via fMRI observation and analysis. The final segment of this paper deals with fMRI studies on acupuncture stimulation in pathological states.
