Abstract
Objective: To summarize the current status of clinical and experimental researches on the treatment of common andrological diseases by moxibustion therapy. Methods: In search of the domestic medical databases by the keywords of moxibustion and andrology, the therapeutic methods of moxibustion on andrological diseases, the rules in acupoints selection and research progress on the mechanism, are summarized based upon the available literature. Results and Conclusion: Moxibustion therapy is safe and effective for common andrological diseases. However, the therapeutic plan, the criteria of diagnostic and therapeutic effect still need to be further standardized.
