Abstract

Objective: To introduce an acupuncture method called flash acupuncture which combines Ashi points acupuncture with the time-related acupuncture based on traditional Chinese Medicine theories. Methods: Flash acupuncture is carried out with magnetic platelets (6 000 Gauss) mainly at Ashi points, preferably with double magnetic platelets (DMP), which means that 2 magnetic platelets are put together one above the other. Results: In the case of sciatica, satisfactory curative result was achieved within seconds and minutes with this integrated acupuncture method. Conclusion: For the efficient action and convenience of flash acupuncture, it is worth popularization and application in clinic for treating various diseases.
