Abstract

Objective: to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with acupoint injection in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation. Methods: 80 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group (50 cases) and a control group (30 cases). Acupuncture combined with acupoint injection was applied in the treatment group, and enema with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was applied in the control group. The clinical effect was compared in each group. Results: the difference of therapeutic effect presented statistically significant between each group (P<0.05). Conclusion: the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with acupoint injection was better than that of enema with TCM.
