Abstract
Objective: to observe the clinical effect of jieyu jianpi zi shen quyu decoction for diabeticnephropathy (DN). Method: from October 2014 to March 2015, 50 patients with type-2 diabetes in early stage of DN hospitalized in tanggu hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Tianjin Binhai New Area were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 25 cases in each group. The two groups were given a low sodium, low fat and high quality protein diet. The control group was given symptomatic treatment by western medicine. The treatment group was given jieyu jianpi zi shen qu yu decoction and acupuncture treatment on the basis of the control group's treatment. Results: the effective rate of the control group was 64%, compared to the treatment group at 88%; and , the treatment was superior to the control (P<0.05). After treatment, TCM syndrome score, FPG, HbAlc, TC, TG, fibrin, urinary microprotein, 24h urinary protein quantitation, urine UAER, Scr and BUN were improved compared to pre-treatment values (P<0.05). Additionally, after treatment, the score of TCM syndrome, TC, TG, fibrin, urine microprotein and 24h urine protein were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: the curative effect of jieyu jianpi zishen quyu decoction combined with acupuncture for the treatment of DN is effective.
