Abstract
Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic pyogenic inflammation of the apocrine sweat glands. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that people with this disease can not detoxicate and promote tissue regeneration. The condition is mostly due to yang dificiency. Wen-tong therapy of Heshi Santong therapy, can help activate the body's vital qi to facilitate resistance to exogenous pathogenic factors. The mechanism has to do with needling sensation and the heat it provides, as a way of inducing the body to heal.
